All-Night Shift: Cars, Snowbanks and Hooligansinnasan
Civil patrols remain on high alert,
said Sergey Bratchuck, “Informatsionnoe Soprotivlenie — Yug” (“Inforesistance — South”) group coordinator.
According to his words, civil patrol crews manned by “Informatsionnoe Soprotivlenie — Yug”, “911” Ukrainian Rescue Service, “Odes’ka Sich — Ukrainsky Opir” (“Odessite Sich — Ukrainian Resistance”) and CSC members helped Odessite car owners and apprehended alleged perpetrators of crimes last night.
As we have reported earlier, “Informatsionnoe Soprotivlenie — Yug” group, “911” Ukrainian Rescue Service, “Odes’ka Sich — Ukrainsky Opir” and CSC organized civil patrolling of Odessa streets due to weather deterioration. Hydrometeorological Centre forecasted strong wind, snowfall and ice-slick on the shores of Black and Azov seas. So, we decided to aid drivers, citizens and local authorities. “Odes’ka Sich — Ukrainsky Opir” military / patriotic educational and cultural centre staff has also conducted a drill including a few mobilization measures and hands-on tasks.
Incoming messages were analyzed in our coordination centre and contacted crews to be sent to city streets. As a result, several cars captivated by elements were pulled out from snowbanks and many citizens managed to get home at last before holidays. Moreover, alleged perpetrators of crimes were apprehended and escorted to police officers.
